TUM (Technical University of Munich) was founded in 1868 and is one of the reputed universities in the science and engineering stream. It has maintained its leading position in world rankings. According to European Commission which compiled a list of universities in the EU ,the top two research universities are Cambridge and Oxford followed by Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Technical University Munich (Germany) at 3rd and 4th places.In addition to this, TMU is ranked the first in Germany and 53rd overall in the world.
It is not surprising that TUM extended its growth by venturing into Singapore,which excels in education, by offering a Master degree course in a joint venture with National University of Singapore. Additionally, TUM offers courses to undergraduate students too in joint programme with Singapore Institute of Technology.
TUM Asia, in collaboration with SIT, offers 2 degree programmes:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
The fee works out to around S$ 80,000 for 3 years for an international applicant.(around S$14,100 per semester * 6 semesters)
